eye surgery

has any ever heard or experienced eye surgery of any kind? my little girl need entropan surgery she is going to have it in may.

My girl Fenway had a corneal repair done last fall due to an eye injury that wouldn't heal. She came through it very well the only problem was the cone she had to wear for over a month due to her eye being stitched shut for healing, her puppy house mate kept trying to rip it off :) I wish your dog well!!!!

My little one had entropion surgery a couple years ago. She did really well with the surgery, although she also hated the post surgery cone. It improved her condition, but we still have challenges with her eyes as a result of her tiny size. She is only 12 pounds (eight years old), and her face is too tiny for her wrinkles, so they continue to irritate her eyes. Although we have considered more surgery, the vet is not optimistic that he could improve it anymore than he has already. She usually does very well and doesn't seem too bother by the irritations, but we can see what look like cataracts on her eyeballs. From my understanding, her case is rare, and usually surgery corrects the problem. The surgery itself is not long, and her recovery time was very short.
