About The Kalamazoo Pug Meetup Group

Welcome to the Kalamazoo Pug Meetup Group!



The Kalamazoo Pug Meetup Group is a group of people who gather once a month all for the sake of our pugs. Pugs are an addictive breed of humor, companionship, and unending love and devotion, all of which makes them worthy of celebrating! The purpose of our group is to get together to let our pugs romp and play together for some special time that is just for them. We humans also have a good time getting to know one another and revel in seeing our "puggies" interact.

There is no membership fee to join our group. The only requirement for membership "dues" is that each member bring a donation for a local animal welfare organization to each meetup, if they can. Typical needs of local animal welfare organizations include, dry puppy/dog and kitten/cat food, cat litter, paper towels, dog and cat treats, hand sanitizer, blankets, towels, etc. The donations collected at each meetup are delivered in the name of the Kalamazoo Pug Meetup Group to the Kalamazoo Humane Society or other groups, each month. This is a way for our group to do something collectively to better the welfare and condition of animals in our community. Because of our efforts in this vein, we have caught the media's eye and have been featured on News 3!
