It's a little bit of a drive but join a group of dog lovers for a day of music, wine, and fun!!

Kelly Cullum who runs Best Friends Furever Doggie Daycare has graciously invited our group to join her clients at their third annual wine tasting. The event runs from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm at the Fiore Winery. There is a $10 cost which gets you into the event and includes catered snacks, yum :) An additional $5 gets you your wine glass for the wine tasting!! Kelly will be purchasing 20 bottles of wine to start with and anything else that you want different or when it runs out will need to be purchased independently. There will be a band playing and everyone is free to wander through the vineyard with their pups :) Thought this sounded like something a little different that we could all enjoy with our pugs!!!

All the proceeds from this event will benefit the Fallston Animal Rescue Movement (FARM)!! And Best Friends Furever will match the money earned as well :)

Don't forget your blankets for some relaxation and your fine tuned senses for some wine tasting :)

I think this sounds like a great Meetup idea. Can I bring my bulldog puppy? Well, she is only 6 months, but already bigger than my pug!

You do not have to be 21 to attend this event. Only to drink the wine :)

Do you have to be 21 to attend? I don't want to drink i just want to bring my pug so he can hangout with his buddies. I can still pay the $10 to get in, just no wine.

This event is rain or shine. If it rains the winery has a large tent that we will be under. Let's hope for beautiful weather though :) I want to take a nice long walk through the vineyard!!

We will be there with a doggie daycare group so there will be many breeds of dogs. Feel free to invite your friends with other dogs!! Just make sure to RSVP for enough guests as I have to let the woman in charge know how many people we will have attending!!

I have a couple friends who would like to attend, but their pooches aren't Pugs - is that welcomed?

Had a great time. Wish the pugs were all in one spot though!

I'm sorry I missed most everyone!! The dogs were exhausted and hot after their outdoor morning training classes so we left very early! I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. Thanks for helping to support another great cause!!

I found this to be more of a fundraising/advertising event, both for the dog daycare center and for the winery, than a chance for the pugs to let loose and enjoy themselves. Indeed, the dogs had to stay leashed because there were no protected fenced-in areas for them to run about. And it was hot and there were not enough sheltered areas for the dogs or the people. I was also under the impression that this was a "Puggapalooza", but the pugs in attendance were by far the minority. After driving all the way to Fiore from Baltimore City, we wound up spending about 20 minutes there and turned around and left because the dog was uncomfortable and there was no adequate seating or shade. The food trays were nice, but I was disappointed in the wine tasting thing. Sorry, I know people went to a lot of trouble planning this event, but I was stressed the whole time as was my dog. Debbie
