We are a fun loving group of dedicated pug fans! We get together for puggy play time and to share our stories and help each other with pug tips and advice. Whether you have one pug or ten, you are welcome to join our group. If you are not yet pugged, but interested in being pugged, just stop by and we'll convert you.

Other Events/Meetups

So far we have limited our meetups to one meetup per month (the first Saturday of each month, weather permitting) but if there is interest in more meetups at Larson Nature Preserve during the summer months, or even meetup for coffee in outside cafes, please contact the Chief Pug Wrangler, one of the Assistant Pug Wranglers, or post a message on the our boards.

We are also throwing around the idea of a summer picnic this year! Any suggestions of a location would be appreciated.

Meetup Details

The "official" meetup location for our group is the Larson Nature Preserve, located at 1720 Western Avenue in Waukegan, Illinois the first Saturday of each month at 10:00am CT. This is the time and location that we've set as the default for the group. It's 34.3 acres of fenced-in, off-leash, dog heaven. There are usually a couple of picnic tables and benches located inside the park. Outside the fenced-in area, there is a doggy friendly water fountain (subject to seasonal availability) and a kiddy play area.
