My fiance and I are going away for a long weekend in June and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good pet boarding places? I really don't want to leave him someplace where he'll be in a cage all day and would really appreciated any reccomendations on where to take him.

Does anyone know any good pet sitters, ideally someone who watches dogs out of their home or a good pet boarding place? Any places I should stay away from?

Being a new dog owner I've never had to leave him with anyone but friends or family so I'm just looking for suggestions.

Here is the link to the website for places to board your pets for the summer that some of our members have stayed at or have heard good things about. But like Ellen said, We recommend Best Friends PetCare Center for all your pet needs.

I am in Montgomery, NY I would be happy to watch your baby for you...I do rescue work with pugs so as long as he is good with other dogs he is welcome to stay with me

PS. Just in case you didnt know, Tina runs Boxer Angels Rescue. She is not only a member but another one of our PET ADOPTION/RESCUE ANGELS as well. I would definitely trust my pets with her for sure. Thanks again Tina for your gracious offer.

Sure...you can definately add me to the list....I love pugs and my guys get along great wih other dogs....I don't crate unless necessary..
I also just started Pug-Peke-Tzu Angels Rescue....you can find us on Petfinder.
