Meetup Groups meet face-to-face to pursue hobbies, network, get support, make friends, find playgroups or even change the world.
Get on the Internet to get off the Internet!
You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
Who should come? Are newcomers welcome?
Anyone who has a pug should have their pug bring them to the get-together! New and old members are always welcome. (Let's keep our pugs safe - As this is a public dog park, there may be other small or huge dogs there when we meet. Please only bring pugs who are vaccinated and get along harmlessly with other dogs. Thank you.)
Why should people come?
People should come to meet others in the area, to meet fellow pug-enthusiasts, and to give our little pugletts time to run, play, and be social with other pugletts.
What will it be like?
I imagine it will be what we make of it - the more the merrier! Definitely casual and certain to be entertaining.
Should members bring anything?
Bring water for your pug and a towel you do not mind getting dirty in case the field is a little muddy and your pug decides to take some of it home with him/her.
What's a good ice-breaker question members can ask each other?
Tell me about your pug! What is her/his name? Where are you from? Where is 'junior' from? Let's talk about how often we want to meet and what the best time is for everyone.
How will members find you when they get there?
Darden Towe Park is on Pantops off of 250 East. The dog park is in Darden Towe across from the pavillion at the end of the parking lot. There are signs when you get there. The dog park is enclosed in fencing. Hard to miss.
LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING EVERYONE AND THEIR LOVEABLE COMPANIONS!
