Hey guys,

Its been a long time since I've been on here, don't know if you even remember me, lol. But I come with good news, the dog park that was being talked about/developed is finally open! Its located on St. Julien Ave. off of Johnston st. (behind the fire station and the baseball park). Its really nice!

Tell us more. Cost, setup etc??

There is no cost. Its about an acre fenced in, has benches and tables and shady areas. It also has a cement slab with a hose for cleaning your dog off and giving them water. There is also a kiddie pool that can be filled to let the dogs splash around.

Cookie, Molly and I checked it out today -they had a blast. There were only 2 other dogs there and 3 people but they made fast friends with them all. Cookie broke into a pugtoona run. They played in the kiddie pool. Cookie took a nap -all that running wore her out.After her nap. another pugtoona run.They loved it.

We need to go! I knew it was open but just haven't had time to make it there. We haven't had time to do much these past couple months besides school stuff. Never again will I take 6 hours in graduate school while teaching full time. Well, hopefully I'll never have that option in front of me ever again anyway.

As much as my boys love to play outside and run around, I'm sure they'll love the doggy park.
