Mary that is devastating news poor little Roxane. last night on the news there has been a big break through with animals who have tumours, all animals treated had their tumours go within 5 days, so now they are going to do trials. no chemo, no radiation just a needle in the tumour. Please i pray the next thing it is suitable for humans. it is so hot this treatment that it may not have filtered into your countries yet

I was hoping for better news too. My biggest worry now would be the tumors being malignant. We are setting up at a Canine Cancer Awareness pet fair on Nov 7. There will be vets specialists there to talk to. I will bring her with me to this. They will be discussing cancer, signs and new treatments. I wish I would have known what to look for with Sledgehammer.crying

She just has to get a break here.

Not so good news for Roxanne. Her blood count was still very low. Th vete didn't want to risk doing anything she could not have survived. He didn't even want to sedate her for x rays. Gave me a vitamin supplement for her and said he'd retest her blood in a month. Now for the bad news. She has multiple breast tumors, and needs a radical mastectomy.crying

So for the time being, she will be spoiled in my homelove struck until we know what is going on in her poor, over bred, underfed, never taken to the vet, abused and neglected little body.angry

She HAS improved, smile but not near enough for what she needs.crying

Thank you for thinking about Ryan Faye. He is much better, but I have his flu now and am going to bed.
Mary, a "speedy" recovery for both you, and, your son....and looking for miracles for Roxanne....smile

Roxanne and you and your family will be in our prayers. It's not fun being sick. Our family just went through that and it was no fun at all. The sickness that is going around is really bad and I hadn't been that sick in years upon years.

Thank you everyone. She is around 8-9 years old, so she still has a lot of life left in her!love struck Could someone possibly have been breeding her all those years??angry The story from the shelter was a BYB/puppy mill dumped her there. We have had several that were former breeders dumped at a shelter, but most were 4-6 years old.

I remember. What I wanna know is, if they are not testing everyone who gets sick to see if it IS the swine flu, how the hell do they know anything about it???? How widespread it is??? Now do I still need the vaccination since I HAD the flu?confused What about the seasonal flu vaccination????confused What will a vaccination DO to me, which flu have I HAD??confused Now they still want to keep vaccinating us and maybe forcing us to get these?confused

If they are going to make people panic, then they should do the research and provide us with the means to be tested to see if it IS the swine flu and they can come up with accurate information and not this imagined BS.angry
