I must have been on Mars last night, because I just heard of this horrendous event this morning. I sat and watched the news and cried.

Having my son deploy a couple of years ago, I know what these young men/woman are thinking when they are being readied to deploy, the waiting, the unknowns, and for this to happen...OMG.

I pray for them and their families.

My heart goes out to them and I salute the Police officer who initially took the shooter down, she's a hero!

God Bless the United States and all who protect her!

just saw on yahoo another shooting happened not on this scale but was in florida i believe if i read right on dead several injured....crying

Yes VERY lucky indeed. Even if he was there and didnt get hurt people can be traumatized for life after witnessing events like this.
